AGNONA POP-UP

Pavilion as a Textile, Heritage as a Material:

Luxury Retail & Fashion

CLIENT TYPE

Agnona, the Italian luxury ready-to-wear house known for rare natural fibers (cashmere, vicuña, alpaca). The brief: design a pop-up retail pavilion that expresses the brand through material and craft rather than logo or branding.

THE CONCEPT

Pavilion as a textile, heritage as a material. Rather than applying Agnona’s brand to a generic retail shell, the pavilion’s entire structure is generated from the brand’s own material heritage, treating fiber, weave, and craft as the architecture itself, not decoration layered on top of it.

MATERIAL ASSEMBLY LOGIC

The design follows Agnona’s own material progression from raw fiber to finished object: raw and essential, spun aligned strong, woven layered tactile, shaped defined timeless. Each stage of that progression becomes a spatial or structural move in the pavilion, so the building itself narrates how the brand’s materials are made.

SPATIAL PROGRAM

Reception, a visual merchandising display, product zones organized by heritage material (linen, alpaca, vicuña, cashmere, wool), a community/flex space, and storage/lounge support areas. The modular assembly responds to sun exposure using a mesh structure, material wall assemblies, sculptural expressions of each fiber, a shade louvre, a glass envelope, wood surfaces for warmth, and roof apertures for controlled daylight.

WHAT THIS DEMONSTRATES

A working example of Edit House’s core method: architecture as brand method, not just service delivery applied to a real luxury fashion house’s actual material DNA. The strongest direct proof of the Spatial Art Direction and Brand-World Direction offers turning a brand’s real material identity into a physical, spatial experience rather than a moodboard.
